Selwyn PE and Sports premium Statement 2022 -2024

Selwyn PE and Sports Premium Statement 2021 – 2022

At Selwyn, PE & Sport have an important role in supporting our children to learn to develop the important qualities of discipline, resilience, communication, team work and ambition. This we believe will lead to children making better lifestyle choices, improved concentration, attitude and academic achievement. Selwyn has had a long history of competing locally in a range of events and we are committed to ensuring more opportunities for pupils to compete across our federation, inter-school and outer borough.

We welcomed the Government’s announcement in June 2013 to provide additional funding to improve provision of physical education (PE) and sport in primary schools. We are committed to using this resource in developing high quality PE lessons, alongside opportunities for sporting competitions and clubs for all of our children.
