Sporting Events

At Selwyn, pupils have the opportunity to take part in competitive sport. These competitions are within the school, across the academy trust and across the borough in a range of sporting activities.

So far this academic year our children have taken part in a number of events led by The London Borough of Waltham Forest including:

• A cross country competition
• A football competition for Y5 and Y6
• Tag rugby for Y3 and Y4
• A girls football tournament for Y5 and Y6
• Tag rugby for Y5 and Y6
• Sports hall athletics for Y5 and Y6
• Sports hall athletics for Y1 and Y2
• Sports hall athletics for Y3 and Y4
• The Winter Games

Additionally we have held the following sporting events in school:

• A Lawn Tennis Association event for Y6
• Leyton Orient (Basketball) Y5
